Our founder is a U.S. Navy veteran with six years of honorable service, including four years forward-deployed overseas aboard the USS Cushing (DD 985), part of the 7th Fleet in the Pacific. With deployments across Southeast Asia and the Middle East — including the Persian Gulf, Strait of Hormuz, and ports in Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and beyond — his background is rooted in discipline, responsibility, and tactical readiness. He also served stateside as a Navy recruiter and firefighting instructor in Great Lakes, IL, further honing his skills in leadership and instruction.

This company was born out of frustration with the price gouging seen during the pandemic, where ammunition prices skyrocketed far beyond reason. We started reloading to give shooters access to reliable, high-quality ammunition without the inflated costs. Our commitment is simple: fair prices, honest work, and no compromises on quality.

American Ammo also offer certified concealed carry courses, because while we firmly believe in the constitutional right to bear arms, we recognize that many states require formal training to exercise that right. Our goal is to make that process straightforward, accessible, and respectful of your time and purpose.
